Feature Items

CALLING ALL ADVENTURERS!

Travel the world by tasting these various flavorsome wines found in this treasure box donated by Karla Sena & Jorge Contreras.

Add a few yummy appetizers and voila – you have a “Travel Party.” This bundle includes wines from Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Africa, Argentina, and several more!

ATTENTION ALL RENAISSANCE ENTHUSIASTS!

Two family admission packs (2 adults and 2 children each) to the MI Renaissance Festival! You’ll be transported back to the late 16th century, the reign of Queen Elizabeth I, in the fictional English village of Hollygrove.

This is an interactive, outdoor event where you can enjoy experiencing life as it was in the late 1500s! Check their website to see the themed weekend presentations and choose one that suits your fancy.

The schedules are updated every Wednesday before the themed weekends, so you can plan ahead and make the most of your visit. For example, bring your dog to the pirates and pups, or grab your kilt and cheer on your favorite athlete in the Highland Fling. No, kilts are not required (really). Plan ahead and join the merriment!

“OPA” TIME!

If you’d like to experience a touch of Greece, bid on this basket which contains Greek products such as figs and dried chickpeas. Believe it or not, chickpeas go well with beer!

Cook up the Misko bucatini, add some greens, the pitted imported Kalamata olives, and toss with a little Minera Horio Olive Oil — oh, so yummy! If you have a sweet craving, spread the vegan fig preserves on Papadopoulos’ biscuits. Included is a Mediterranean cookbook which has a variety of meal plans and 100 recipes to get you started. If you are ever bored, use the beautiful worry beads which are used to pass the time and are part of Greek and Cypriot culture. It’ll be “OPA” time in your kitchen!

IT’S TEE TIME!
GOLF & DINNER PACKAGE

With Michigan’s springlike weather, many golfers are already teeing off. This unique package offers 18 holes of golf for 4 with a cart at Fox Hills and lunch or dinner at Karl’s Cabin. Fox Hills is an upscale golf destination, nestled in the beautiful countryside of Plymouth, Michigan. As you arrive, you’ll see 500 acres of plush scenery and soak in the splendor of all 18 holes of golf complete with breathtaking views.

In addition, enjoy lunch or dinner at the historic Karl’s Cabin, owned by the Poulos family since 1982 and recently remodeled after a kitchen fire. Enjoy American comfort food with a Greek twist, craft beer and so much more!
