The Chamber congratulates the 2009 Applause! Award nominees.

The award winners will be announced at the Chamber's 45th annual meeting and awards dinner scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 22, at the Finnish Center.

Please join us for a special evening where our new partnerships and programs will be unveiled and learn how the Chamber continues to contribute to the economic health of Farmington/Farmington Hills community.

Here are the nominees:

- Make a Difference Award: Community Living Centers; Diane Cassidy - Salon Legato; McCarthy & Smith; Steppingstone School For Gifted Education and Suburban Sports Group.

- Chamber Role Model Award: Dan Penning- Wright Penning & Beamer; Diane Dunn- Hart & Harp LLC.

- Economic Leadership Award: Daimler Financial Services.

- Best Place to Work Award: Greg Boudreau- Birmingham Conference Center; Jerry Ellis/Steve Brock- City of Farmington Hills (nominated by 10 employees); Salon Legato.

- How May I Help You? Award: Dr. Paul LaCasse of Botsford Hospital; Ed Cleland of the Farmington/ Farmington Hills Foundation & Farmington Youth Assistance; Gayle Nabozny of Bargain Books; Suburban Sports Group.
