In Dr. Suzuki’s extremely successful method, children learn to play with excellence. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend both group classes & private lessons with their children. Ms. Stolberg has played with professionals from Aretha Franklin to Pavarotti. She has extensive Suzuki training.
One-hour lessons: $600.00
Half-hour lessons: $300.00
Thursday Group lessons: $300.00

The Japanese Camp is primarily based in learning to speak, read, and write Japanese using the Hiragana and Katakana alphabets. Students will recite math facts and compute basic addition and subtraction problems in Japanese. They will play traditional Japanese games, make Origami figures, listen to Japanese literature, participate in story telling, and partace in Dalcrose Rhythmic music activities. Children will also have instruction in Japanese calligraphy and cook traditional foods.

(Ages 7-12)
Always wanted to be on stage? Do you see yourself with a future on Broadway? Well, here is your chance to find out. This class will provide you with an introduction to the world of theatre and will cover vocal projection/articulation, stage presence, eye contact, ensemble building and character work. Class will culminate with a “sharing” of our work for friends and family. Teacher will adapt lessons depending on ages and skill level of students. This class is for ages 7 through 12.

When you hear Hektor Qyteti play music, you will be moved. Here’s your chance to see how he achieves such a beautiful sound.
Mr. Qyteti is a graduate of the Conservatory in Tirana, Albania, where he studied with Ibrahim Madhi. He has been the concertmeister/principal violinist in many orchestras, and spent years as a music director at an arts academy in Korca, Albania.

Ages 6 and up.
Thinking about music lessons? Philip Duker brings a holistic approach to teaching by developing general musical abilities (rhythm, ear-training, singing/vocalization, and sight-reading) in addition to specific instrumental technique and repertoire. Having taught private lessons for many years, he also understands how crucial it is to keep things interesting and fun, especially with students of a young age. He is available to teach percussion (drumset, hand drumming, and classical percussion), composition, musicianship, and beginning piano.
Dr. Duker completed a PhD in Music Theory at the University of Michigan where he studied composition, percussion, and piano and teaches at U of M as an adjunct professor of Music Theory.

Find the answers to all those questions about how the world works. Grandpa Don (Don Gaines) shares his inquiry and hands-on approach to the world of science with his classroom-tested and kid-approved programs. Sample topics may include Tadpoles to Frogs, Eggs to Chicks, How Seeds Grow, Simple Machines and Light & Sound. This is one of our most popular classes. Mr. Gaines has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering.
