The Steppingstone Magnetic Resonance Training Center is the recipient of a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) award from the National Science Foundation (NSF) through a partnership with James White of Active Spectrum. Students will be selected to demonstrate laboratory methods described in the Active Spectrum lab manual for a portable ESR unit manufactured by Active Spectrum. As part of this grant, the SMART Center will receive yet another portable ESR machine that will provide more accurate data.
